We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and continue our tradition of excellence.

Job Summary: As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our restaurant. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in food quality, customer service, and overall guest satisfaction. We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
  • Cultivate a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Manage inventory, procure supplies, and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
  • Establish and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

  • Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service and set the standard for your team.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere to enhance the dining experience.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets to control costs and enhance profitability.
  • Analyse sales, expenses, and financial reports to make informed decisions.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and implement strategies to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.

Menu and Quality Control:

  • Collaborate with the chef to maintain the quality and consistency of the menu.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Guarantee that dishes are presented and taste as per our high standards.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Contribute to marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses and actively engage with the community.
  • Identify opportunities for promotions, events, and special offers to drive business.

WHO YOU’LL BE

  • Proven track record as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including both kitchen and front-of-house.
  • Proficiency in financial management and basic accounting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Education: A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience will be considered.
