At Signature Brew we have two loves, beer and music. We believe that the two go hand in hand, whether it's brewing beer with the bands themselves or bringing great beer to our favourite venues and music festivals.

With this in mind, we've united our two passions to create Beer & Music, a free zine which we'll be distributing alongside our music-inspired beer at the venues, bars and festivals we support.

The zine itself represents everything Signature Brew stands for – artistry, independence, beer and music – and contains the creative work of our friends and conspirators including photographers, poets, illustrators, brewers and bands from across the UK and as far afield as New York.

Inside you'll find interviews with our collaborators Lightyear and The Skints, artwork from our local screen print legends We The Lifers, poetry from Mischa Pearlman and a sit down with Signature Brew's lead brewer, Riina Lääts, about her most ambitious beer to date. And tons more.

As we're hitting the road and heading to Manchester Punk Festival and Slam Dunk this spring, it seemed only right to make this debut the punk issue, so we asked our contributors to explore what punk means to them through the lens of their particular mediums and disciplines. We hope you enjoy the results.
