Events-focused Supervisor Role at East London Taproom and Venue

Are you a hospitality worker with an aspiration to work with promoters, live events, or in the music scene? We have just the opportunity for you.

We’re looking for an individual who is highly organised, proactive, and has a flair for live events. The role is primarily events-focused, dealing with promoters, live acts, and bookings, but you’ll also need to have the hospitality knowledge and grounding to support within the pub at Assistant Manager level as required. 

Signature Brew Haggerston has a vast array of events and activities - live music, club nights, cabaret, comedy, quizzes, podcasts, with plenty of corporate and private bookings thrown in too - and your job will be to engage with promoters and stakeholders to maximise attendance and ensure things run smoothly, as well as proactively seeking out new partners and promoters who want to use the space. A 180 capacity space with a terrace by the Regents Canal that soaks up the sun with which to do frankly anything that is safe, licensable and profitable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: stock control and cellar management, leading the bar team and show running a diverse range of events, extensive product knowledge (training provided by industry leading brewers), high standards of cleanliness and drive to develop the team and business into the best bar and venue in London.

Negotiable contracted hours. £12.05 per hour
