Independent Venue Week 2017

Independent Venue Week 2017 The Skints at the Hope & Ruin

As the dust settles on another incredible Independent Venue Week, we at Signature Brew are returning to normality as well as reflecting on a great celebration of live music and for us, good beer.

Firstly, we’d just like to thank Sybil, Chloe and the team for their year round effort that makes IVW such a roaring success. It’s their vision and tireless work that gives so many great venues the chance to shine.

From us a huge thank you must also be extended to The Skints, whose support and commitment to our collaboration beer Nice Time was second to none and as the staff here will testify the three shows they played in Brighton, Kingston and Southampton were incredible. A 3.9% Tropical Pale Ale, Nice Time has flown out and the positive feedback we’ve received has been overwhelming.

2017 was our second year as beer partner for IVW and it enabled us to continue our mission of getting good beer into the hands of deserving music fans. Never before have so many pints of Signature Brew beer been consumed at live music venues in such a short period of time. More and more venues are realising the value that offering good beer hugely improves gig goers’ experience and boosts the venues chances of retaining customers long before and after each gig. That said, we’re a long way from saying mission accomplished.

I’m told it’s important not to ramble, so we’ll end this here. It’s just left for one more thank you, to all those involved in the wonderful celebration that is Independent Venue Week 2017.

Cheers, Tom
